About Us
Welcome to Healthcare Sector Partnership
Launched in August 2020 by the Cuyahoga County Workforce Funders Group (CCWFG)—a partnership of public, private, and philanthropic of funders working collectively to drive systems change in workforce development—the employer-led Workforce Connect Healthcare Sector Partnership (HSP) works jointly to develop strategies and solutions for hospitals’ short- and long-term talent needs and to improve collaboration, coordination, and impact within the education, training, and workforce ecosystem.
The HSP employers currently include Cleveland’s major hospital systems: Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth, University Hospitals, and Southwest General. In the future, we intend to include additional healthcare entities and employers.
New Bridge Cleveland, along with the New Growth Group, serves as the HSP intermediary, which facilitates, convenes, and coordinates the HSP.
Mission
To widen pipelines and accelerate access to career opportunities and pathways by holistically and equitably transforming systems and activating solutions in Cuyahoga County to advance people in careers and to address workforce needs in the healthcare sector.
Vision
To change inaccurate perceptions of qualified talent and the systemic forces that contribute to the social determinants of work and to redesign policies and practices across the employment continuum, including interest, recruitment, training, onboarding, retention, and meaningful pathway mobility.
